What is TheChange Women’s Safety Initiative, and why does it exist?
There are already laws, helplines, NGOs, protests, and safety apps. Why have none of them solved women’s safety, and why do you believe TheChange can?
How can women trust that TheChange itself won’t become just another failed system or unsafe platform?
What happens in the absolute worst-case scenarios—no network, phone taken away, or the attacker nearby? How does TheChange still protect the user?
Many women face danger from people they know—family members, partners, or authority figures—and cannot openly ask for help. How does TheChange protect women in silent, high-control situations without increasing risk?
What if someone misuses TheChange—by triggering fake SOS alerts, making false accusations, or trying to exploit the system? How do you prevent abuse without discouraging real victims?
Who watches TheChange itself? If this system has so much access and authority, what prevents misuse, bias, or negligence from within your own team?
What if I’m being followed on a street and can’t stop or take out my phone without alerting the person behind me?
What if my phone battery is very low or dies during an emergency?
